Biography

Ryan Hoffer is the founder of Forged Fathers, a fatherhood and personal growth movement focused on helping fathers and families break generational cycles through healing, emotional regulation, recovery, resilience, accountability, and purpose-driven leadership.

Ryan is also the founder of Community Bridge Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to community outreach, restoration, and support for marginalized individuals and families. Through initiatives such as Faith & Food, Ryan and his team are working to provide meals, resources, encouragement, and community support to homeless men and women while helping fill critical gaps where help is needed most.

Ryan’s life story is rooted in both hardship and transformation. After spending over 35 years involved in addiction, gangs, incarceration, trauma, and destructive environments, Ryan made the decision in 2018 to fully change the direction of his life. He openly acknowledges the mistakes, poor decisions, and pain he caused throughout different seasons of his life, and he believes true healing begins with ownership, accountability, humility, and growth.

After years of struggle, Ryan recommitted his life to God, sobriety, fatherhood, personal development, and rebuilding broken relationships. Since then, he has remained committed to recovery, community impact, emotional healing, mentorship, and helping others find purpose through adversity.

Ryan also spent over a decade navigating high-conflict custody battles, false allegations, repeated child services investigations that were never founded, and parental alienation involving his children. Despite the emotional devastation of those experiences, Ryan eventually won full custody of his two sons after a lengthy legal battle. Today, he uses those experiences to help fathers and families stay grounded, regulate emotions, rebuild themselves mentally and emotionally, and avoid losing themselves during extremely painful family conflicts.

As an author, speaker, curriculum developer, and advocate, Ryan creates books, companion journals, coaching systems, and structured personal-growth programs focused on fatherhood, addiction recovery, trauma, emotional resilience, mental health, generational healing, and rebuilding identity through purpose and accountability.

Ryan is also developing mentorship and leadership initiatives for at-risk youth designed to help young people choose leadership, discipline, purpose, and personal growth over gangs, violence, addiction, and destructive environments.

At the center of Ryan’s mission is his daughter, Justice Danielle Lorraine Hoffer, who continues to inspire his commitment to becoming the man, father, leader, and example he never had growing up.

Today, Ryan’s message is simple:
No matter how broken the past may be, healing, growth, accountability, restoration, and transformation are still possible.
