Darlene Taylor - Certified Professional Coach/Author

Life/Relationship/Personal Growth coach and author, Darlene Taylor, a staunch advocate for effective co-parenting, shares her mission and insight from her book, It’s Not About Us: A Co-parenting Survival Guide to Taking the High Road, as she shares 15 tips of “wisdom” on how to co-parent with an ex (even if the breakup was hostile) by taking a collaborative approach for the best interests of the kid(s). She talks about setting boundaries so as not to become a doormat, how parents will likely always have a connection even when the children are grown, and her decision to finally agree to pull up stakes and leave her post as a college professor and move with her daughter to L.A. when her ex, UCLA Basketball coach, Mick Cronin was offered the top post for the university’s team. Taylor is warm and engaging as she chats with TheHourGLASSpodcast’s host, David Glass. As the interview winds down, Glass throws some “rapid fire” questions at Taylor, all of which she answers spontaneously, yet thoughtfully. You will get caught up in this interview, and it will be over before you want it to be.
