BIOGRAPHY

David J. Glass, veteran Certified Family Law Specialist, and former psychologist, who launched TheHourGLASS podcast (www.thehourGLASSpodcast.com) in October of 2022, and which has grown exponentially in popularity, is best known for handling A-list celebrities and high-profile types with their family law matters. Now heading into its 8th Season, his show is based on his book, Moving On: Redesigning Your Emotional, Financial and Social Life After Divorce.

In the show’s dynamic 8th season history, Glass has interviewed nearly 200 guests—all of them experts in their respective fields; many are celebrities who have shared personal stories and given sound advice to THG viewers.

During his 4th season, Glass shifted to a new format, “People in the Know,” where guests shared valuable insights during Zoom interviews. Some of his guests have included: Larsa Pippen (“Miami Housewife/former wife of basketball great, Scottie Pippen); Gabrielle Stone, model, actress, author; Rich Little, legendary impressionist; Ann Serrano Lopez, ex of standup comic, George Lopez, Bill Medley and Bucky Heard—The Righteous Brothers; Denny Tedesco, music documentary maker; Marc Hogan, music critic/journalist; pop singer Laura Bryna; Waddy Wachtel and Danny Kortchmar—the latter, studio and concert musicians, two who have toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in music. The two joined with other notable studio and touring musicians to form “Immediate Family,” (who became the subjects of one of Tedesco’s documentaries); and Terry Ilous, lead singer (and songwriter) renowned with XYZ and Great White. Prior to that, Season 6 featured those in TV and film like: The geniuses behind “Airplane” and “Naked Gun,” David and Jerry Zucker and the late Jim Abrahams; filmmaker, Drake Doremus; DP, Julio Macat, who shot “Wedding Crashers,” and “Home Alone”; film editor, Chris Tellefsen (“Nyad” and “Moneyball”); Cindy Chupack, comedy writer and author (“Sex in the City” and “Modern Family” ); Andy Robin (“Seinfeld” writer); and Anson Williams (“Happy Days”). Season 7, with a focus on the healing and value of humor when going through a tough time, featured: Comedy writer/director, John Hamburg; legendary standup comic, Rita Rudner; London’s top neuroscientist, Dr. Sophie Scott; standup comics, Judy Carter and Cathy Ladman; and versatile actor, Jim Meskimen. Season 8, with Episodes dropping the second Saturday each month through 2026, include interviews with a mix of an eclectic mix of experts on Parental Alienation, Domestic Violence, “Gray Divorce,” Co-Parenting, and a variety of other trending divorce and breakup topics. The show’s Episodes also air on Spotify, YouTube, Apple podcasts, smartphones, and other streaming platforms.

Glass has received many honors for his work and has been featured on the cover of “Super Lawyers” twice as well as being named a top L.A. lawyer for many years. He also was featured in “Podcastars Magazine.” Glass was lauded for his work on the Kelly Rutherford legal child custody matter in its early stages.
