Meet David
David J. Glass, veteran Certified Family Law Specialist, and former psychologist, who launched TheHourGLASS podcast in October of 2022, and which has grown exponentially in popularity, is best known for handling A-list celebrities and high-profile types with their family law matters. Now in its 7th season, his show is based on his book, “Moving On: Redesigning Your Emotional, Financial and Social Life After Divorce.
In the show’s dynamic six-season history, Glass has interviewed nearly 100 guests—all of whom are experts in their respective fields; many are celebrities who have shared wisdom and advice. His fourth season shifted to a new format, “People in the Know,” with guests from various entertainment genres, sharing wisdom and advice with Glass during Zoom interviews. Some of his guests have included: Larsa Pippen (“Miami Housewife/former wife of basketball great, Scottie Pippen); Gabrielle Stone, model, actress, author; Rich Little, legendary impressionist; Ann Serrano Lopez, ex of standup comic, George Lopez, Bill Medley and Bucky Heard—The Righteous Brothers; Denny Tedesco, music documentary maker, Marc Hogan, music critic/journalist; pop singer Laura Bryna; Waddy Wachtel and Danny Kortchmar—studio and concert musicians who have toured and recorded with some of the biggest names in music and how they and their close-knit “The Immediate Family” bandmates, became the subjects of Tedesco’s documentary; and Terry Ilous, lead singer (and songwriter) renowned with XYZ and Great White. Glass has received many honors for his work and has been featured on the cover of “Super Lawyers” twice as well as being named a top Los Angeles lawyer for many years. Glass was lauded for his work on the Kelly Rutherford legal child custody matter in its early stages. In addition to Rutherford, Glass has also represented Mariel Hemmingway, Larsa Pippen, Nikki Margera, the wife of daredevil Bam Margera, and “Top Model” and “Miami Housewife” Joanna Kruppa, to name but a few.

David J. Glass is uniquely qualified to handle complex family law matters because he is one of a few select attorneys who is credentialed in both law (JD) and clinical psychology (PhD). He is Certified by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization as a Family Law Specialist—a distinction held by only a small percentage of the family law practitioners in California. Glass has practiced exclusively in family law for 27 years. He is currently a name and the managing partner at EPGRLawyers, Los Angeles office. Prior to his law career, Glass worked as a licensed psychologist treating adults with anxiety and mood disorders, and drug and alcohol addictions, and worked in a psychiatric emergency room.
